Isostatic Pressing Machine

Cold Isostatic Pressing (CIP) is a method of compacting powdered materials into a solid homogeneous mass by application of high pressure (up to 2400 bar) before machining or sintering. The resulting compact has a uniform density with low entrapped stress, enabling it to be machined in the green state.

Machine Features

  • High Pressure Vessel Size up to 250 lits.
  • Isostatic Pressures up to 2400 bar.
  • High Pressure is achieved by in-house Hydraulic driven intensifier.
  • Optional Pneumatic operated intensifier can also be provided.
  • Lid with high pressure sealing and interrupted threads for convenient locking.
  • Hydraulic cylinder with swivel arrangement for lifting /lowering of the lid.
  • Required isostatic pressure can be set on the controller.
  • Full cycle of Pressurizing, holding and de-pressurizing is completed automatically with buzzer at end of cycle.
